9 books I fell in love with in 2025

Here are 9 books I have fallen in love with this year so far and have gotten all 5 stars. You might find a gem you want to look into and pick up :)

  1. Rewire: your neurotoolkit for everyday life by Vignola Nicole

Incredibly insightful if you want to read more about how your brain and the way you think shape the way you live your life

  2. The attachment theory workbook by Annie Chen

This book blew my mind! Warmly recommend this to everyone interested in learning about relationship dynamics

  3. You are the one you’ve been waiting for: Bringing courageous love to intimate relationships by Richard C. Schwartz

For those who want to be seen when things are getting rough. For those who want to understand better, become better listeners, and find that the goal is reconnection.

  4. (DE) Atmen by Ralph Skuban

This book has taught me that I have been breathing wrong my whole life and need to relearn again

  5. We need your art: Stop messing around and make something by Amie McNee

All about my thoughts can be read here: Book review

  6. Adult children of emotionally immature parents: How to heal from distant, rejecting, or self-involved parents by Lindsay C. Gibson

This one hit home. Not everything needs to be forgiven, but this book may help those find peace and closure from whom they might never get it from.

  7. (DE) Homefarming: Selbstversorgung ohne grünen Daumen by Judith Rakers

This book was so charming! I may not have my own chicken or a huge garden, but I imagine myself living my cottage dream like that

  8. (DE) Gemüse für alle: Das Gartenbuch mit Erntegarantie für Einsteiger by Wander, Ganders
If you are a beginner gardener wanting to grow your own food, this book is for you!

  9. (DE) “Mama, bitte lern Deutsch” Unser Eingliederungsversuch in eine geschlossene Gesellschaft

An incredible book about a first gen kid growing up in Germany, the struggles, the beauty, the humour - this book had it all. A true delight to listen to (read by the author)

Final thoughts

There are so many books and stories out there waiting to be read and discovered and I cannot wait to get my hands on as many books as this lifetime will allow me to read.

Cheers to many more lives lived through words of great authors!

Stay curious & BE BOLD,
Soso
